Do I have to change my miner's pool every time someone rents it?
No — that's the whole point. You point your rig at the HashStrike proxy once. When a rental starts, the proxy routes your hashrate to the renter; when it ends, it routes back to your own pool. Your miner never notices.
What does my rig mine when nobody is renting?
Whatever you choose. By default it solo-mines to your own Bitcoin address on the HashStrike solo pool, or you can point it at any pool you already use. Rentals temporarily override it, then restore it.
How and when do I get paid?
In bitcoin (sats), to a payout address you confirm by email. Renter funds are held in escrow before the rental starts, and settled payouts are released to you automatically.
What if the renter's hashrate delivery fails?
Telemetry is measured continuously. If delivery falls short, the ledger tracks it and disputes can be opened — you're not automatically on the hook for hashrate the renter didn't receive.
Can I keep using my own pool between rentals?
Yes. Set your home pool in the seller dashboard — any stratum pool works. The default is solo-mining to your own address.
What does it cost to sell?
Creating an account and listing is free. A marketplace fee is taken from settled rentals — you keep the rest. There are no listing fees or subscriptions.
